Healthy Indian Grated Carrot & Dates Salad

Carrots and dates offer a host of health benefits. This salad helps to balance blood sugar and good digestion. Also is a super food for weight loss and weight management.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Grated Carrot
  • 1 head Lettuce
  • cup Chopped Dates (Khajur)
  • 2 tbsp Chopped & Roasted Almonds badam
  • For The Dressing
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions
 

  • Put the carrots and lettuce in ice-cold water for 10 minutes. Drain thoroughly.
  • Break off the individual lettuce leaves into bitesize pieces and prepare a bed of the leaves in a serving bowl.
  • Spread the grated carrots in the middle.
  • Sprinkle the chopped dates and toasted almonds over the carrots.
  • Put in the refrigerator. (optional)
  • Serve cold with the dressing in a separate bowl.
