Fish Cutlet

Ingredients
- 1 cup Fish
- 2 medium Potatoes
- 1 tsp Fennel Seeds (Saunf) optional
- 2 medium Onions
- 1 or 2 Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 2 tbsp Curry-leaves and coriander leaves
- 1 – 2 tsp Garam masala powder
- 2 Eggs
- As required Bread crumbs
- 1 tsp Pepper
- To taste Salt
Instructions
- Steam the fish for 5mins. Peel skin and remove the center thorn of the fish. Boil the potatoes. Remove the skin and mash.
- In a kadai, heat oil, add fennel seeds. When they split and onion, ginger, garlic. Fry until they turn brown.
- Add chopped green chillies, curry, coriander leaves, stir well.
- Then add mashed fish and mashed potatoes, add salt to taste. Mix well. Finally, add garam masala powder and remove from fire.
- When it cools, make them into round balls or whatever shape you desire. Beat the eggs with a little salt and pepper.
- In that mixture dip the balls one by one and then coat them with breadcrumbs.
- When everything is done, fry it in oil.
- You can also pour a little oil in the tawa and brown both sides.
