Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Water
  • 6 Mint Leaves (optional)
  • 1 tsp Tea Leaves
  • 12 Strands Saffron
  • 1 tsp Honey

Instructions

  • Add water into a saucepan, along with the saffron strands and allow it to come to a brisk boil.
  • Once it begins to boil; add the tea leaves and mint leaves. Allow the tea leaves to simmer in the water for about a minute and turn off the flame.
  • Once you add the tea leaves and mint leaves, allow it to brew just a little to ensure the tea stays light and does not turn bitter.
  • Strain the Kesar Tea into the cups and add honey.
  • Stir in until honey is completely dissolved in water.
  • Serve immediately when the tea is still hot.
