Ingredients
- 2 Cups Water
- 6 Mint Leaves (optional)
- 1 tsp Tea Leaves
- 12 Strands Saffron
- 1 tsp Honey
Instructions
- Add water into a saucepan, along with the saffron strands and allow it to come to a brisk boil.
- Once it begins to boil; add the tea leaves and mint leaves. Allow the tea leaves to simmer in the water for about a minute and turn off the flame.
- Once you add the tea leaves and mint leaves, allow it to brew just a little to ensure the tea stays light and does not turn bitter.
- Strain the Kesar Tea into the cups and add honey.
- Stir in until honey is completely dissolved in water.
- Serve immediately when the tea is still hot.
